ABOUT US
Our firm aims to make more widely available methods for airborne particle measurement, while also providing a workplace that is professionally rewarding.
Founded in 1991, we are a small R&D company specializing in the measurement of airborne particles. These particles comprise the visual haze in the atmosphere, and are important to human health and global climate. Aerosol instruments developed by our firm are used for atmospheric research, routine monitoring, epidemiology studies and global climate research.
Commercial instruments based on our firm’s technology:
WCPC
Our water-based condensation particle counters measure the number concentration of airborne particles as small as a few nanometers in diameter. First introduced in 2005, WCPCs for laboratory and micro-contamination are licensed to, and sold by TSI Inc.

SPOT Sampler
The Spot Sampler captures fine and ultrafine particles in a concentrated manner for easy, off-line analysis. Its moderated condensational technology enlarges particles without temperature extremes, making it ideal for volatile or biological applications. The Spot Sampler is sold through Aerosol Devices Inc.
